Facelift & Necklift With Dr. Joel Studin, Long Island

A facelift is a surgical procedure that is done to improve the appearance of the neck, chin, and face. Related surgery can also be done at the same time to correct drooping eyelids, remove wrinkles and bags around the eyes, reshape the nose, lift the lip and elevate the brows. A facelift tightens the skin, elevates the muscles and deep tissues to where they were when you were younger, removes excess fat and tightens facial muscles. The overall effect is to reposition the facial tissue so it looks more youthful and natural.

There are many types of aging of the face. It takes an experienced physician to help guide a person as to what is best for them. In some cases, it's just anti-aging creams, in others it's injectables, in others, it could be laser resurfacing. In many people though, the absolute best choice is a facelift.

You have to be careful when going for a consultation to correct aging of the face. You've heard the expression when you're a hammer the whole world is a nail?
